Birds are released from an elevated tower, surrounded by shooting stations. Shooting Stations are at least 100 yards from tower. Hunters rotate around the tower every so many birds.
Your dog is welcome specially if he can retrieve. We have retrievers on site also.
Registration table ready at 7:00 AM so you can have your registration and release form, your goodie bag, and get your station assignment with a copy of guidelines for the event. Continental Breakfast served at 7:30AM, followed by Hunters Safety Meeting. Hayride to your assigned station and ready to start. . .
Buffet lunch is served at the camp once the hunt is over.
Birds released depends on number of hunters. Birds killed depends on the shooting abilities of our guests hunters. Birds killed are shared in equal numbers per hunter.

and lots of fun!
The afternoon of the Pheasant Shoot and the next morning is time for "clean up hunts". These are guided hunts to harvest the birds that were not killed during the shoot. Price per gun is $300.00 (if they participated in the Pheasant Shoot) and the hunter will be able to harvest up to 6 birds. $400 if the shooter was not part of Pheasant Shoot.
One bird is released with a marking that identifies him as "The Lucky Bird" or "The Money Bird"
Hunters contribute to a pot with $5.00 per hunter. The money collected will be the prize for he or she shooting the marked bird.

Tower Shoot ends when all birds are released.
